Cllr. Debbie Bollard
I have lived in Woodhall Spa for 20 years, both my children went to St Andrews and I was for a time the Chair of the PTA. I have always supported the community and was instrumental in creating the existing traffic management plan for the Woodhall Spa 1940s Festival. More recently I took on the Chair of the Woodhall Spa Coronavirus Community Support Committee organising and leading a team of volunteers who provided shopping and prescription deliver services during the pandemic and which I am now hoping will be developed into the Good Neighbour Scheme under the governance of the Parish Council. With a position on the Council, I would be able to lead the development of the project whilst also contributing to other Parish projects.
By way of background, I served 10 years as an officer in the RAF before retraining as a solicitor; I worked at Chatterton's in Horncastle and then Spalding as a Partner. More recently I have set up my own consultancy, working from home, providing licensing and HR support to business across the UK including in Woodhall Spa. I have been a trustee of the East Lindsay Citizens Advice Bureau, The Butterfly Hospice in Boston and until recently the Lincolnshire Community and Volunteering Service, as well as a Governor at Barnes Wallis Academy.
As an active member of the community, I hope that I would be able to make a valuable contribution to the Parish Council
